Waiting around for a change of heart, you've waited so long you don't where to start. You're looking at me, I'm looking at you, nobody has a clue. Words you say come out all wrong, you're singing somebody else's song. Know it's hard to find your voice, and it's easy to get crippled by choice. Train comin' round the bend, face to face, head to head. Lay down and take another hit, or you can get up and get on with it. Still water runs deep, you'll need that water when you take that leap. Might hit bottom, rise to the top. You might get washed up on the rocks. Maybe you get swept away, by the beauty of each day. Or you might wake up in a dry creek bed, bad decisions running through your head.

Everything I've done, is just a waste of time. I used to love you, now I've changed my mind. All the tears that we both could cry. But the water don't flow when the river's dry. Everyone I know thinks they're fooling em all, standing alone in the great hall. Victory, victory got away again. Standing in the bleachers with your girlfriend. He's looking her in the eye he's got nothing to lose, and nothing but time, you got nothing but booze. And there's one thing that you know is true. Lot of rivers you can go down son. Rivers of pain into a deep ocean, you lose yourself and we all become one. Drowning in love. I keep trying to pretend I don't care. I wish it was true, I would shatter this mirror. I can't let go, of who I see in there. Rolling down the dark road, following fear.
